Couvert d'un toit de tuilesà quatre pentes raides, le corps central présente sur ses deux façades des fenêtres hautes à chaînages harpés et appui mouluré, aménagées au XVIIe siècle par la famille de Maumigny. Coiffées d'un toit conique en tuiles, les deux tours furent également percées d'une fenêtre à chacun de leurs niveaux. Mais elles offrent toujours des canonnières sur plusieurs niveaux, notamment à la base de la tour NE où se remarque une meurtrière à rotule de pierre. Les consoles de la bretèche qui défendait l'entrée de la façade O subsistent au-dessus de la porte, remaniée. L'intérieur a subi des modifications à différentes époques. On y remarque des plafonds à la française sur corbeaux de pierre et deux cheminées Renaissance, dont l'une à jambages cannelés et chapiteaux ioniques. A la partie supérieure des tours, l'ancienne pièce de garde, surmontée d'une double enrayure, offre des embrasures de canonnières aménagées dans différentes orientations.
